A passing note

Scott Whitby, 2024

A passing note?

Who are you

tucked in there

to make me confused?

My fingers fail

when you appear.

What do you want and

why are you there?

All you need is

a flick of a string

between a major and a minor...

hardly anything.

But if I ignore you,

oh hell no!

The song's no good

if you don't show.

Who are you?

You're a passing note

tucked in there and

waiting to gloat!
