I picked a good road

Scott Whitby, 2023

There were alot of ways from there

Not many to here, not really,

maybe one

Other ways were too fast, or slow

They went to the wrong place

I didn't know

So I picked this road, curves and hills

From the hills I could see

Far ahead

It had just two lanes, ditches, no lines

There were straight parts though

I wasn't afraid

A different road may have led here

Or maybe somewhere better

Still don't know

I like that road that led from there

Hills and curves, ditches and all

I picked a good road
